I have been extremely excited about my quickly growing client base. I am working with men and women, single and partnered, with and without children, from their mid-twenties to their sixties, enjoying good health and experiencing dis-ease or living with disease. Some of the people I am fortunate to work with include consultants who are often on the go, artists and musicians with hectic schedules and lifestyle concerns, students who burn their candles at both ends, educators who give so much of themselves that it's hard to find what's left, self-employed business owners who have equated their work with their life to the point that there is no longer a boundary and they can't keep up physically or mentally in either arena, couples tired of saying they want to get healthy but not knowing how to get started or support each other in doing so, and parents who want to introduce a healthier lifestyle in their homes but don't know how how to "slip it over" on their children. In addition to consulting with my clients, I provide each person with a customized weekly "game plan" that includes an individualized meal design, original recipes, suggested readings, nutrition and fitness tips, inspirational quotes, tips for greener living and other valuable tools for their personal journey. If my clients are outside of the Houston area, I do the research to help them be successful wherever they are. I also check in briefly with each person several times per week via e-mail or IM to see how their week and the sustainability of their personal program is going... and of course I am there for e-mail and IM support to answer questions as needed along the way. Client sessions are scheduled for evenings or weekends via phone, online chat or in-person at scheduled times. In-person sessions can be held at healthy new places to eat, done while walking in fun locations or working on breathing exercises outdoors, enjoyed while on a grocery store tour of Whole Foods with customized menu planning and cooking tips, or other fun wellness experiences incorporated into consulting sessions. Whether in person with me or wherever you happen to be, get out and actively engage in learning how to support your wellness ideals. As a long-time educator and student, I believe you should get out and learn wherever life happens to ensure there is little gap between education and application. EDUCATION PARTNERED WITH ACTION IS POWERFUL AND BUILDS ON ITS OWN ENERGY. This is what distinguishes what I do from simply trying one more diet, reading one more book, or trying one more class. Together, we build on your strengths, target your goals, creatively design a plan unique to your needs, get moving, and celebrate your successes as you navigate your personal journey.
